Markets for Makers Indy

Thank you Markets for Makers for having us! Today was such a blast getting to see what so many different small businesses around the indy area offer and make. Our favorite part was the shopping and flower crown making, however, flower crown making is way harder than it looks! It takes a LOT of patience and skill to make one (that stays together).

In this post I also wanted to share 10 restaurants/small businesses I personally have shopped at or eaten at that love in Indy (not in any particular order):

1. Yats and Dats - This restaurant is great if you're looking for delicious (spicy) Cajun and Creole food! Their bread that comes with the entrees is so good! If you want a filling meal for a less expensive date night or carry out for a night in, this is your place.

2. Lesley Jane Boutique - My favorite for fun, unique Dresses! They have so many cute clothing options!

3. Milktooth - You have to go if you want an aesthetically pleasing place to enjoy coffee, pastries, and a good meal. The food and coffee are made in the eating area of the restaurant for you to watch if you are at the coffee bar or bar top seating.

4. Cafe Patachou - Amazing local restaurant for breakfast and lunch, plus they have multiple locations around the Indy area!

5. Dottie Couture - Clothing you'll love for every season! They get new things all the time so you won't feel like everyone has what you're buying.

6. Garden Table - Go here for the healthy delicious food and juice options and the beautiful atmosphere! They have 2 locations (mass ave and broadripple).

7. Cake Bake Shop - Go here for a special occasion (b-day, Mothers Day, or a girls day)

8. Napolese Pizza - Yummy artisan pizza and many pizza options to chose from! They also have a nice, modern outdoor seating area.

9. Square Cat Vinyl - A local Record Store in Fountain Square. They have many genres and records to pick from (new and old) and they usually have bands play on the weekends for live music.

*10. Kingmakers - A board game parlor for games and drinks! This would be so fun for a group date or family night out.

*I have yet to go to Kingmakers, but it looks so fun that I wanted to share it with you guys!
